Charlotte Foster, Specialist Dietitian and Nutrition Lead at Headland Care Consulting

Charlotte Foster BSc (Hons) MSc RD is Headland's Specialist Dietitian and Nutrition Lead. She is a Senior Specialist Dietitian at Barts Health NHS Trust, one of the largest teaching trusts in the UK, and the founder of DINE (Dietetic Information and Nutritional Evidence), a personalised nutrition clinic serving clients across London, Surrey and beyond.

Charlotte graduated with a first-class degree in Nutrition from the University of Nottingham, before completing her MSc in Dietetics at King's College London. She is a registered dietitian with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), a Registered Nutritionist, and a member of the British Dietetic Association, including its Freelance Dietitians and Food Allergy specialist interest groups. Her clinical experience spans gastrointestinal conditions, food allergy and intolerance, oncology nutrition, cardiovascular and respiratory health, weight management and antenatal nutrition, gained across several London hospitals as well as in private practice alongside leading Harley Street consultants and at King Edward VII's Hospital.

At Headland, Charlotte leads on the dietetic and nutritional dimensions of our condition-specific care frameworks, ensuring that everyday meals, menus and mealtime practice in care settings are designed around the clinical realities of residents living with cancer, dementia, diabetes, heart disease and post-acute stroke. She works closely with care home chefs and clinical leadership teams during discovery and framework design, contributes to staff education and roundtable engagement, and helps providers translate the best available evidence on nutrition for older adults into practical, deliverable changes in daily care.
